Introduction to news

 

In the question "How are the people in the story represented?" where I have stated that "the manager and staff were presented as nice and friendly people" they're also shown as ordinary people like you and me. This done with medium shots and a level angle. If they used a close up we wouldn't get the persons whole body and possibly wouldn't trust them as much as it seems like they're hiding themselves. Also if they used something like a low angle shot it'd seem like the staff are looking down on us but because the shot is level we feel equal and that we can trust who we're listening to.
